Happy New Year to all! Our prayer here at the LIGHT! is that you would experience God’s love and reflect the light of Jesus to all whom the Spirit brings into your life. In excelsis Deo!
Please pray for those affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles. So many are homeless and the firefighters overwhelmed. May God allow all of us to help be part of the solution.
We rejoice that outgoing President Biden and his team were able to help negotiate a cease-fire between Hamas and Israel. We thank God that hostages are being released today and continue to pray for peace and understanding in the region!
We pray for incoming President Trump to be a person who stands for truth and personal character as that is what is needed for any leader to be successful.
Continue to pray for the Ukraine & Russian people suffering under Putin. Please pray for President Biden and soon-to-be President Trump to continue displaying the strength of leadership he has been displaying in rallying the rest of the free world to stand against this aggression and in securing aid for the Ukrainians to keep fighting for their independence from the authoritarian regime of Vladimir Putin. ***

We will continue our series on “Love Your Enemies” and will be spending this quarter working on a training module for facilitating productive and forward-moving discussions between two groups who are not necessarily friendly to each other.
