Rich and Lena have a deep passion for ministering to others as evidenced by their founding of and service through the LIGHT! since 1991 here in the Milwaukee area.
Rich works as an executive at a Fortune 500 firm by day and serves as one of the key leaders of the LIGHT! pretty much every hour outside of his day job! He earned his BS in Electrical Engineering and then went on to get his MBA at Northwestern University. His primary spiritual training was through CRU at the University of Illinois where he served as President during in the late 80s.
Lena is a CPA having earned her accounting degree at the University of Illinois. Her spiritual pedigree and developmental foundation emerged through her time with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship (also in the late 80s) where she served in roles of increasing responsibility (specializing in small group leadership). Lena is the heart and soul of the staff at the Milwaukee branch of the LIGHT! and the one most likely to answer the phone when you call us!
Keith and Melody lead the Chicago-branch of the LIGHT! since its origin in 2017. Similar to Lena their spiritual tutelage and training springs afrom Intervarsity as well (albeit in a slightly later time period through the mid-90s)
Keith is gifted in people skills as evidenced by his undergraduate degree in Psychology and his Master’s Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations. To keep his personal relationship skills strong Keith maintains a full-time job as an HR executive in order to better understand the challenges of the many working folks who connect to our ministries. Like Rich he spends pretty much his remaining hours outside of work focused on ministering to people through the LIGHT!
Melody is a gifted teacher and educator having received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Illinois. She is actively engaged in the Chicagoland homeschool group which serves as a wonderful place in which to connect with the many mom’s and families who might ultimately be touched in some blessed way by God through the LIGHT! Like Lena she is the heart and soul of the staff at our Chicago branch of the LIGHT! and the one most likely to answer the phone when you call their number!
