Both Melody and Keith have been leading small group Bible Studies to people of varied background, but primarily Asian. Some are Christian, some are not, and all are in various stages of spiritual maturity.
Keith’s group has been studying the book of John. We meet every other week on Fridays. We’ve seen growth since we started meeting last October. We started with about 5 guys and are now at 9, with possibly 10 if another guy will join. Word spread pretty quickly and it seems
like the men all want to learn something about God’s Word. Keith has been working on trying to go beyond just the intellectual facts and nuggets and looking at the deeper level of developing a relationship with God.
Melody’s group has been meeting for a longer period of time, and the group had originally
started as a book club to look at parenting with Biblical principles. They meet on the Fridays
when Keith’s group doesn’t meet. The group has a mix of Christians and non-Christians, and
have shown a desire to get into God’s Word directly rather than just study topics. That’s a good
sign, but we see a spiritual battle going on as some are on the edge of making a decision to
trust Jesus as their Savior.
