Our country is so divided!
\nWe pray for unity to bring us together.
\nWe pray that we would start by finding common ground.
\nWe pray for civility to reemerge and that name-calling would disappear.
\nWe pray for conversations to take place.
\nWe pray for listening and empathy to take place before talking and debate.
\nWe pray that compassion would prevail
\nWe pray that all of us would learn to walk a mile in others shoes.
\nWe pray that we would focus on solutions and on what’s possible.
\nWe pray that we would learn to work together for the greater good of our country.
\nWe pray that those who abuse the system would cease.
\nWe pray for those who have the ability to help.
\nWe pray for those who have the ability to work, to work.
\nWe pray for those that are truly vulnerable – that they would be loved and cared for.
\nWe pray that we would be strong and that we would protect our borders from those with evil intent even as we welcome those who have been persecuted and want to come here to make a better life for themselves and for society.<\/p>\n
