Barcelona, Spain – a van mows down 14 people in a dense, up-scale shopping area full of tourists.<\/p>\n
Turko, Finland – a crazy person with a huge knife goes on a stabbing spree killing 2 people and injuring many more.<\/p>\n

This has been a terrible week with violence and death involving neo-Nazis, white nationalists, and ISIS across multiple countries!<\/p>\n
I believe that the root of this violence tends to center around what we at the LIGHT! are fighting against – inequality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Many of the white nationalists here in the US are feeling left behind, their lives being overtaken or jeopardized because of “external” groups (whether they be black, Mexican, Jews, etc.). \u00a0I’m not certain about ISIS but I’m wondering how much of a following they would have if their people had felt well taken care of prior to joining ISIS.<\/p>\n Perhaps not so much?<\/p>\n None of this is sanctioned by God. \u00a0We must stand against this violence.<\/p>\n Join with us at the LIGHT! at our praise and prayer service this weekend as we pray for our country and for our world – let’s take individual action and defend our most vulnerable against any and all who would seek to undermine the principles which we hold dear as Christians and Americans:<\/p>\n “ALL men are created EQUAL”<\/p>\n “unalienable rights of LIFE, LIBERTY and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS”<\/p>\n “ONE nation, under GOD, with LIBERTY and JUSTICE for ALL”<\/p>\n “form a more perfect UNION, establish JUSTICE, insure domestic Tranquility (PEACE), provide for the common defense (so we all are SAFE), promote the GENERAL WELFARE, and secure the BLESSINGS of LIBERTY to ourselves<\/strong> and our Posterity (future generations<\/strong>!)”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Charlottesville, VA – a car plowing into a crowd of anti-protestors killing a young woman and injuring 19.
