As always we girls had a blast at our regular Sweet Wednesdays gathering! It’s so nice to make this a “girls night” yet reserve the right to include “the boyz” whenever we feel like it (isn’t changing of mind a woman’s God-giver prerogative?
This time we met at Jo-Ann’s house – always a lovely and spacious place to connect! We all love how she has so many different, cozy “conversational” nooks around her house. It’s like, we can all be hanging in her kitchen, yet break into small groups of 2 or three sometimes and have little conversations in distinct areas of her kitchen or gather round her island and hang out as a large group!
Plus, we talk about anything and everything! Whether it’s about work or kids or making new treats or losing weight (when we make too many new good-tasting treats!) or new ways to connect with Jesus it is always such a fun encouraging time to just be ourselves, share all of our joys and burdens and encourage each others in our walk with God. The best part is talking about our husbands. (Whoops! Don’t tell them…they might not let us ever come back! =)
