All of you know of the recent devastation in Texas with Hurricane Harvey. The loss is staggering and could be the costliest hurricane in our history!
People have lost…
- their homes
- their possessions
- their lives
The mayor has established a curfew to limit the looting that is going on. There is a major need for boats, for shelters, for food, for supplies – you name it, they need it!
We are going to send aid to our brothers and sisters there. (Some of you who have been with the LIGHT! in our early days may remember Tom and Derong who live there now!). Tom did post that they are OK. Still, any help we can provide the community there would be surely appreciated!
